QURANIVA is a digital Quran application that provides features including Quran reading and translations, verse search, bookmarks, Quran audio (Murottal), prayer times, Qibla direction, Adhan, daily prayers, Dhikr, and other supporting Islamic features.
2. Information and Device Permissions
QURANIVA is designed to minimize the collection of personal information. Certain application features may require access to specific information or device capabilities.
Location: QURANIVA may request access to the device's location to calculate prayer times based on the user's location and to determine Qibla direction.
Location information is used to provide these features and is not used by QURANIVA for advertising purposes.
Users may deny or revoke location permission through their device settings. Prayer time and Qibla features may not function correctly without location access.
3. Application Preferences and Local Data
QURANIVA may store application preferences locally on the user's device, including application language, Quran translation preference, Arabic font size, bookmarks, reading statistics, selected reciter, and other application settings.
Local data may be removed when application data is cleared or when the application is uninstalled, depending on the operating system and device configuration.
4. Camera and Media
Certain features may use the device camera or media capabilities when explicitly initiated by the user.
QURANIVA may also allow users to generate, share, or save images, such as Quran verse images or support QR images, to their device. These capabilities are used only when requested by the user.
5. Notifications and Adhan
QURANIVA may request permission to send notifications. The application may also use alarms and background media playback services to provide prayer reminders and Adhan at scheduled prayer times.
Notification permissions can be managed through the device's system settings.
6. Audio Playback
QURANIVA provides audio features including Quran recitation and Adhan. Background media playback may be used so audio can continue while the application is minimized or the device screen is locked.
7. Third-Party Services
QURANIVA may communicate with third-party services to provide certain application functionality.
Quran content, translations, audio, or related information may be obtained through Quran Foundation services.
QURANIVA may also use Supabase infrastructure to provide application information and content managed by QURANIVA.
Third-party services operate according to their respective privacy policies and terms.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information and application configuration. However, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Data Sharing
QURANIVA does not sell users' personal information.
Information may only be processed by services necessary to provide application functionality, comply with legal obligations, maintain application security, or when users intentionally share content using device sharing features.
10. Advertising
QURANIVA currently does not display third-party behaviorally targeted advertising.
If this practice changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
11. Support and Donations
QURANIVA may provide an optional feature allowing users to support the development of the application.
When third-party payment services are used, payment processing is handled by the respective payment provider. QURANIVA does not directly store users' payment card information.

QURANIVA is a Quran application intended for a general audience and does not intentionally request sensitive personal information from children.
